Cheapest Workout Ever

Without a doubt, exercise has a lot of benefits to our health.  In fact, daily exercise keeps the doctor away.  Along with proper diet and healthy lifestyle, we can achieve the optimum health status.

As important as proper diet, competition on different workout machines and programs are increasing.  Advertisements are made to encourage the people to use workout machines.  As a result, working out became expensive.

On the other hand, there are inexpensive ways to work out and these would not break the bank.  As a matter of fact, it is one of the most efficient techniques to get the benefits of a real exercise.

Push-ups. Push-up routines are the best way to tone the arms and shoulder.  While weight training in the gym may cause overworking the muscles because of heavier weights, pushing up provides just enough weight for the arms.  Take note, in toning the arms, exercise must be more on repetition with right amount of weights.  With proper position, push up to your limits to give your muscles on the upper body its much needed work out.

Crunches. Sit up and curl up is a great way to achieve slimmer waist.  It will also tone up the back muscles, and even thighs.  The best on this routine exercise is that it needed only mat-like floor or any flat surface, which are supposedly available in your home.

Jumps. Jumping jacks and jumping on the rope is a great leg muscle work out.  Daily jumping can shape up your legs and tone up thighs.  It can also firm up your bum.  Do 5 sets of jumping jacks every day to get its benefits. Ropes can also be used as jumping rope.  It improves metabolism which will result to weight loss.

You see, working out need not be expensive.  Taking a closer look, these exercises are effective in getting the benefits of daily exercises.  Much more, it does not need any gym membership at all or an investment for any fitness machine.

Stretching. Stretching improves the flexibility of the body.  Every morning, as you get up, do some stretching routines.  On the floor, stand straight and raise your hand, then reach for an imaginary thing.  Reach as far as you can then let down your hands. Moreover, bend sideward, backward, and forward, then reach for your toes.  While some have overlooked the benefits of stretching, it is vital before starting any fitness activity.  Just like a car, our body needs to be warmed up first before doing intense physical activity.  It avoids tensions and sudden pressure on the muscles and tendons, which might be at risk for fracture, accidents, sprain, and strain.  Furthermore, it kicks up the energy.

Walking. Overlooking the benefits of it, walking is what people first learn in life.  With the current lifestyle and technological innovations, we have limited ourselves to the number of hours we can spend walking.  Often times, we became independent to elevators and escalators.  Walking requires the movement of all body parts especially the lower body.  Depending on the speed, walking can burn up to calories.  Thus, it is advisable to walk rather than riding the car. Walking boosts up the mood, improve proper blood circulation, and maintains higher metabolism. Just a tip, 2000 steps per day can burn 100 extra calories.
